Candle Purchase: Full payment is required before we can commence work on your item. You can either purchase personalised candles directly from our website with the design and colours as displayed on the website (there are fields provided for you to enter information we need to personalise your candle and you may have a choice of different colours). Or, if you wish any alterations to the displayed designs, please contact us and we happily custom design a candle for you (see Custom Design). Prices, sizes and designs are subject to change without notice. Candelino Candle Boutique reserves the right to decline orders without explanation. Candelino Candle Boutique does not accept responsibility for any damage resulting from the use of candles bought from Candelino Candle Boutique and Candelino Candle Boutique's website (see our Candle Care Instructions at the bottom of this page).
Payment Options: You can pay by:
Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa): Candelino Candle Boutique uses PayPal as secure payment gateway. Your data is secure with PayPal (See PayPal's information about privacy of your financial data).
Direct Bank Deposit: We can only commence work on your candle once your payment has been received. This might take several business days. Please make sure you put the Order ID and/or your name in the description, so we can match your payment to your order.
Bank Cheque and Money Order: Payment has to be received and money to be cleared before we can commence work on your candle. Please be aware that it may take at least 5 working days for Cheques & Money Orders to clear. We recommend payment by credit card for a faster service.
Custom Design: We will discuss your design requirements with you. A summary together with a quote will be emailed to you for approval before we start work on the candle. Once you have checked and approved the design & quote, please write an email to info@candelino.com.au with your written approval. Once your approval & payment have been received, we will commence work on your candle. Please be aware that Direct Deposit, Cheque & Money Orders may take up to 5 working days to clear (please check with your bank). We will notify you as soon as your personalised candle is finished and has been posted to you. Any candle design including all custom designs are copyright of Candelino Candle Boutique and remain exclusive and original to Candelino Candle Boutique. We reserve the right to use images of your candle for advertising purposes.
Alterations: If you have ordered a custom designed candle, alterations can only be made until you have emailed us your approval. Your approval is considered a final approval and no alterations can be made thereafter to the design except at the the client's full expense.
If you purchase a candle directly from our website in the design displayed on the website, no alterations can be undertaken once you have gone through the checkout process and ordered the candle. The moment you put your order through, your order is considered your final approval and no alterations are possible at any later stage. Consequently, when you enter any names or dates in the fields provided, please check the spelling carefully as spelling mistakes can only be corrected at the client's expense (including any possible shipping costs).
Postage & Packaging: We ship all our candles via Express Post to avoid long transit times. The only exception are our Valentine & Love Candles, which we ship via Standard Post. Australia Post may leave your parcel at your door or leave a note for you to pick up the parcel from the next post office if you are not at home at the time of delivery. Candelino Candle Boutique will package your personalised candle with great care. However, we cannot take any responsibility for any poor handling by Australia Post or any other third party which may cause any damage to your candle.
Delivery Times: All delivery times are approximate and counted from the day payment has been received.
Standard Orders:
1. Single Wedding Candles & other non-wedding candles: 3 - 7 working days
2. Custom Designs & Unity Sets: up to 10 working days
Overnight Service/Express Orders: This means, that your order will be given full priority. A fee of $20 applies.

2. Custom Design & Unity Sets: up to 7 working days
Exception Funeral Candles: Candles for funerals do NOT incur extra charges for overnight/express order. Please contact us if you need your funeral candle urgently (please tell us the exact date) and we will do our very best to deliver the candle to you as soon as possible. Select "Standard Order" for all funeral candles so that you do not get charged the priority order fee, even though we treat you as priority order.

Candle Care
- NEVER leave burning candle unattended.
- The main things to remember is that light will fade and change the colour of your personalised candle and heat will soften and deform the candle (this happens to any candle, with or without decoration). Find a cool place for your candle, away from direct sunlight and do not touch the decoration with sharp objects such as fingernails or rings.
- While you are not using the candle, it would be ideal to store it in a cool cupboard behind glass and away from sunlight, so everyone can see the candle, but it is protected from dust, heat, light and touch.
- We recommend you burn the top bit of your personalised candle until there is a hole big enough to insert a tealight. Light the tealight and it will look as if the actual candle was burning. This way, you can light your personalised candle as often as you like without destroying the decoration. Simply keep replacing the tealights.
- Only burn candles on a heat resistant surface.
- Keep candles away from curtains or any other flammable materials.
- Keep candle away from children.
- Do not move a lit candle.
- To make sure the candle burns with an even and steady flame, trim wick from time to time or use tealights as explained above.
